Why CSV imports fail and how a small script fixes them
See the offer and order
When you move data between tools, an import usually fails for a few repeatable reasons:
- Column names that don't match what the destination expects
- Date formats that differ, for example DD/MM versus MM/DD
- Amounts that contain currency symbols or thousands separators
- Duplicate or blank rows
- File encoding problems that garble special characters
Cleaning the file by hand works once. You have to repeat the fix on every export. A small script applies the same mapping and cleanup every time.
That is what we offer. Send a masked sample export and name the target tool. We return a cleaned import-ready CSV, a reusable Python (standard library) or Sheets script, and a README. Basic is $20 for one file of up to 15 columns. The code is AI-assisted and checked against your sample. The work is done by the TradeUp owner and team.
What you receive
A ready-to-post Fiverr gig with title, description, three packages, FAQ and buyer requirements. It comes with an Upwork proposal template and a working, tested-by-design Python script template (standard library only). The script maps, renames, cleans and normalizes columns from any export into a target import format. Price: $20 basic. This price is unvalidated (grade D): no comparable listing prices were supplied or verified, so none are cited. The first paying customer is the validation.
